Pugnacious, piggy eyed German born Hollywood actor with thin top lip, puff cheeks and a small topping of light brown hair. Often seen in aggressive, even explosive roles, the bulky Dzundza has also displayed a more delicate side to his talents in such films as The Butcher's Wife.
George Dzundza was born in 1945 at Rosenheim, Germany to a Ukrainian father and a Polish mother. He spent the first years of his life in displaced persons camp.
The family lived in Amsterdam before immigrating to America. in 1956. He is a naturalized citizen of the U. S.
His name is pronounced "ZUHN-zuh."
Mr. Dzundza attended the private Cardinal Hayes Catholic High School after which he attended St. John's University in New York City where he studied speech and theater arts.
He made his film debut in 1973 in the film Massage Parlor Murders!. He has been active in films appearing in such films as Deer Hunter, Basic Instinct and Crimson Tide.
