Rusty Lane was an American character actor who appeared in films and on television.

He was born as James Russell Lane At Chicago, IL in 1899.

His career ran from 1945 until 1980 in which he has 115 credits in the mediums of films and television.

Many times he appeared as a lawman, either as a sheriff, detective , judge or warden. He also played in many westerns as well.

Though much of his career has been on television,some of the film roles of Rusty Lane were:
