A prolific character actor, Johnny Seven was born John Anthony Fetto at Brooklyn, NY in 1926.
Seven was one of six children from an Italian American family. He was the only male out of the six children.
He served 2 1/2 years with the U. S. Army and appeared in several USO shows.
Johnny Seven was originally his nickname in the Army and he used the cool sounding name when he started his acting career.
Seven worked in the New York theater and live television performances before entering films and television guest spots.
He made his film debut in a non credited role in the film On The Waterfront.
In addition to his acting career, Seven has also written and directed television and films.
