Classic Comedienne Judy Canova

Dark haired American singer comedienne with wide grin whose unique brand of scatterbrained hillbilly humor and splitting yodel were enough to keep her going in second feature comedy films through three decades.
She was born Juliette Canova at Starke, FL in 1913 and was the direct descendant of the Italian sculptor whose "The Three Graces" were displayed in The Louve.
Judy Canova began her career yodeling, singing and guitar playing with her brother and sister in a vaudeville act which later moved on to a New York night club.
She made her Broadway debut in Ziegfeld Follies of 1936.
Canova was popular on radio as well hosting her own show for 12 years.

Judy Canova passed away in 1983 of cancer.
I do remember seeing Ms. Canova on television but I am sorry to say that I have not seen any of her movies.
