Logan Ramsey was an American character actor.
He was born at Long Beach, CA in 1921.
His father was Lt. Commander Logan Ramsey, Sr who sounded the alarm at the start of the attack on Pearl harbor.
Ramsey studied acting under the famous acting coach Lee Strasberg.
A veteran of stage, films and television, he became typecast as redneck sheriffs, racists or gutless villains.
Ramsey and his wife Anne formed the prestigious Theater Of The Living Arts in Philadelphia.
His film debut came in 1957 in the film A Face In The Crowd. His television debut came in 1948 in an appearance on The Ford Theater Hour.

The Matter With Helen? and The Beast Within as well as his performance as the Emperor Claudius in the Star Trek episide Bread And Circuses.
