Don C. Harvey was a prolific American character actor of films and television'
His career ran from 1945 until 1963 with 201 credits in the mediums of motion pictures and television.
Mr. Harvey was born at Council Grove, KS in 1911.
He originally started his career appearing in tent shows, repertory companies and in radio along with his wife Jean Harvey.
While in Hollywood he started on a radio show with Hedda Hopper. In 1949 he signed a film contract with Columbia Studios where he appeared in serials and "B" pictures.
Mr. Harvey also appeared in films of the western genre especially the "B" westerns.
As you will see from the upcoming filmography he also played many detectives and policeman as well.

Mr. Harvey was married to Jean Harvey, his only wife. Both he and his wife during the 50's belonged to a group of actors who standard was to put Christianity back into the movies.
Don C. Harvey passed away in 1963 at age 61 of a heart attack.
