Dorothy Green was an American actress of films and television.

She was born Dorothy Jeannette Hufford in 1920 at Los Angeles CA..

Her career in films and television ran from 1952 until 1997 with 117 credits for both of these media.

Ms. Green began her career on stage at the Pasadena Playhouse before she moved into films and television.

She is best known for her role of Jennifer Brooks in the popular daytime soap opera The Young And The Restless (1973) as well as her role of Lucy Chapman in the film The Big Heat. This was the film she made her movie debut in.

Her second husband was Sidney Miller and the marriage lasted from 1967 to 1984 until the couple divorced.

Dorothy Green passed away in May of 2008 of natural causes at age 88.
