Dependable, grave looking American supporting actor  who enjoyed a good run of doctors,  judges, senior officers  and attorneys until the mid 1950's , after which he was lost almost to long running television series, latterly as Matthew Swain in Peyton Place.

Warner Anderson was born in 1911 at Brooklyn, NY.

Anderson started out as a child actor in silent films as well as appearing as a teenager in burlesque and vaudeville, then moving to Broadway plays before making his film debut as an adult in 1943 in This Is The Army.
