There were several actors that appeared in several of the episodes:

Herb Vigran

Milton Frome

Ben Weldon

Philip Tead as Professor Pepperwinkle

I will be doing blogs on the above actors later on.

The producers of the 1951 series were Robert Maxwell and Bernard Luber. The balance of the series was produced by Whitney Ellsworth.

I was just in second or third grade when this series first came out. I remember a friend of mine from St. Matthias grammar school telling me about this show. I remember that he said that it came on at 5PM ( I was home from school by then). I also remember that it was sponsored by Kellogg..

This was a wonderful series and I always enjoyed it. I now have the entire series in my film and TV collection and can watch it whenever I want.

The series was aimed at the 7 to 15 year old age group. I guess that myself and many of my friends are still kids at heart since we all love this series.

I usually do not like movie versions of TV shows but I have to, admit that the Christopher Reeve Superman films were great. Too, bad he had to die in a terrible accident.
