Stacy Harris was a Canadian born character actor who had a career that ran from 1951 until 1972 with 143 credits for appearances in film and television.

He was born at Big Timber, Quebec, Canada in 1918.

Harris appeared in many western and film noir films as well as a guest star in many television series.

Harris was an army pilot whose leg was injured in a crash in 1937. The injury prevented him from reenlisting again for World War Two but served with the American Volunteer Group as an ambulance driver and the French Foreign Legion as a dispatch rider.

In addition to his military career, Harris had been a boxer, sailor, newspaper reporter and artist before becoming an actor.

He first appeared on radio as agent Jim Taylor on ABC in This is your FBI.

Jerry Devine who was the program's producer- director stated that "Stacey has just the sort of voice I need for quiet authority of the special agent on my show. Besides, he's a good actor.

Other radio programs he appeared on were The Adventures Of Superman, and The Strange Romance Of Evelyn Winters.

His film debut came in 1951 in the film Appointment With Danger and his television debut came in 1951 in the TV series Doorway To Danger.
