Darleen Carr is an American actress, singer and voice over artist.

Ms.Carr was born in 1950 at Chicago, IL'

She began her early career in television with a recurring role in the TV series Bret Maverick as the editor, reporter and photographer for the town newspaper. She appeared in 18 episodes.

Her film debut came in 1967 in the film Monkeys, Go Home as Sidoni Riserau.

Though most of her work was in the area of television she did appear in films.

In 1977 she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress Golden Globes for her performance in the TV Miniseries Once An Eagle

She sings and has sung in The Sound Of Music and in the Disney film The Jungle Book. She has released an album in 1988 entitled The Carr-DeBelles band.

Ms. Carr has been married twice. The first marriage to Jason Laskay ended in divorce. Her current husband from  1992 is actor Jameson Parker.

I enjoyed her in the recurring role of Jeannie Stone in the TV series The Streets Of San Francisco as well as in the films The Horror At 37,000 Feet, Young Joe The Forgotten Kennedy, The Death Of A Gunfighter and the Miniseries Once An Eagle.
