Jack Reitzen

Jack Reitzen was an American character actor.

He was born at Chicago, ILL in 1924.

His career in films and TV ran from 1942 until 1965 with 62 credits in these areas.

He is probably best known as Chopstick Joe from the TV series Terry And The Pirates.

Jack Reitzen portrayed the role of Chopstick Joe on the TV series Terry And The Pirates which appeared in 1953.

He also appeared on television in such programs as The Buster Keaton Show, Life With Buster Keaton, Invitation Playhouse, Space Patrol, Schlitz Playhouse Of Stars, The New Adventures Of China Smith, The Lone Wolf, I Led Three Lives, Mr & Mrs. North, I Love Lucy, Topper, Cavalcade Of America, Highway Patrol, The Sheriff Of Cochise, Matinee Theater, The Man Called X, Tombstone Territory, The Court Of Last Resort, Gunsmoke, Adventures Of Superman, Harbor Command, Target, Cimarron City, Shotgun Slade, Overland Trail, Decision, Tales Of Wells Fargo, Not For Hire, Bat Masterson, The Asphalt Jungle, The Roaring 20's, Cain's Hundred, 87 Precinct, The Lloyd Bridges Show, The Gallant Men, The Untouchables, Burke's Law and I Spy.

Mr. Reitzen was married twice. His first wife was Nancy Arnold (1962 - 1979) but the marriage ended in divorce.

His second marriage was to Joyce Buck and it lasted until his death.

Jack Reitzen passed away in 1998 at Santa Barbara, CA.

I best remember Jack Reitzen as Chopstick Joe in Terry And The Pirates, a short lived TV show but one I enjoyed very much.

I have seen several of the films I listed above but since I have only seen him made up  as Chopstick Joe I probably did not recognize him. Will have to review these films and TV series.
