Ramon Bieri was an American character actor who appeared much in films and television as well as on the stage.
His career ran from 1962 to 2001 amassing 124 credits for appearances in film and on television.
He was born at Windsor, CT in 1929, the son of William Parker Bieri and Gladys Arens Bieri.
His theatrical career included both Broadway and Off Broadway productions. Bieri was also known for his performances in NYC's Shakespeare In The Park productions, Ohio's Akron Shakespeare Festival and San Diego's Old Globe Theater.
He was a founding member of the American Conservatory Theater.
He made his film debut in 1970 in the film The Grasshopper. His television debut came in 1962 on Armstrong Circle Theater.

Bieri starred for one season on TV in his own sitcom "Joe's World" as Joe Wabash and the series ran from July 1979 to December, 1980.

Married twice, his wives were Dorothy Whitney (1965 to 1967) and Charlene Polite (1970 - 1979). He had one child from his first marriage.
Ramon Bieri passed away in May of 2001 from cancer.
